Bourdois & Bloch Paris Hand Painted Puce Cherub Floral Green Raised Gold Plate. Very nice late 19th century French porcelain relief molded luncheon plate. Decorated with a hand painted winged cherub sitting on rocks and playing a flute in the center framed by puce floral garlands. With a green border with puce diamond overlay and raised gold gilt scrollwork. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with a gold crown above a scripted CT monogram. This is a copy of an 18th century Carl Theodore Frankenthal mark that was used by Bourdois & Bloch in Paris between 1887 and 1900. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 8 1/4 inches wide.
