Furstenberg Dresden Hand Painted Mallard Duck Luster Beaded Gold Demitasse Cup. Beautiful porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. The inside of the cup is decorated with a hand painted mallard duck flying above grass with a pale purple luster sky. With gold beading along the lip on the inside. The outside of the cup and saucer have a dark green luster band framed by gold gilding and beading. Gold gilding to the handle of the cup. Signed by the artist in the cup. Marked on the bottom with a gold crown F Germany Furstenberg Dresden. Furstenberg opened a decorating / painting studio in Dresden in 1906. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 1 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
