Very pretty porcelain charger in the Louise blank by Jaeger & Co. Decorated with a nicely hand painted Asian lady in kimono holding a fan. She is standing by an Asian panel and a tree with hand painted pink blossoms, and a lake with a padoga in the background. Gold gilding along the edge. Signed by the artist A Beatty. Marked on the reverse With flowers & J & C Louise Bavaria. This mark was used by Jaeger & Company between 1898 and 1923. Has some wear to the gilding and a few small scratches to the background and near the bottom of the lady’s kimono, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 12 1/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
